You can take this course as a video online course or as a face to face course nationwide. As a face to face course, this course trains you in the use of fire extinguishers and is an ideal extra course to add to our level 1 and level 2 fire courses.
A lack of confidence, knowledge and experience can lead to a fire extinguisher being used incorrectly, which can be dangerous. Ensure your employees are able to use an extinguisher safely and effectively in the event of a fire.
This course shows the different types of extinguishers and their methods of operation, capabilities and limitations. Online course is visual demonstrations of use only, unless booked as a classroom on-site course where delegates will get hands-on experience of the use of an extinguisher.
This course is suitable for Fire Marshals or Wardens wishing to increase their knowledge or anyone who may find themselves in a situation where they may need to attempt to tackle a small fire.
This course does not include the use of real fires, it is just to give students the experience of using a fire extinguisher.
